الناموس الذي يقتضي أن يتزوج الرجل أرملة شقيقه المتوفَّى (أو يتزوج الأرملةَ أقربُ شخص إلى زوجها المتوفَّى في حالة عدم وجود شقيق للمتوفَّى) إذا مات زوجها بلا أطفال. زواج الولي من امرأة قريبه المتوفي.
