أو التأليه الطبيعي، هو الإيمان بأن الله خلق العالم ولكنه إلى حدٍّ كبير تركه؛ ومن ثم لا يتدخل بعنايته الإلهية في مساندته أو إمداده بأسباب الحياة. بعبارة أخرى، مع أن الله موجود، إلا أنه لا يتفاعل مع العالم المخلوق. يُستخدم هذا المصطلح أيضًا لدعم الرأي القائل بأن الديانة الحقيقية هي ديانة طبيعية مؤسَّسة على التفكير العقلاني والمنطق وليس على أي إعلان خاص ذا سلطة.[25] الاعتقاد بإلهٍ خلق العالم، غير أنه لا يتدخَّل بشكل مستمر فيه أو في الأحداث التي تقع فيه.
