الرؤية السعيدة

رؤية الله التي يمنحها للمؤمنين بعد الموت. تُدعى هذه الرؤية "السعيدة أو البهيجة" (باللاتينية beatifica، أي المباركة، لأنها تُمنح للمبارَكين في السماء. وسمِّيت رؤية vision لأنها رؤية الله، وفقًا لوعوده في الكتاب المقدس (متى 5: 8؛ 1كورنثوس 13: 12؛ 1يوحنا 3: 1-3). وعلى النقيض من المعرفة التي يختبرها المؤمن بالله على نحو توسطي وجزئي خلال وجود المؤمن على الأرض، فإن الرؤية السعيدة هي رؤية مباشرة وكاملة، لأن المبارَكين في السماء يمعنون النظر في الله في جلاله. وفي حين تعتقد بعض المذاهب اللاهوتية البروتستانتية بالرؤية السعيدة، إلا أنها توجد بشكل شائع في اللاهوت الكاثوليكي.[8]
