حُجة تقول بأن هناك تشابهًا كافيًا بين الله والخليقة، حتى إن ملاحظة الكون سينتج عنها فهم محدود لطبيعة الله. ويُقال أن تناظر (تماثل) الوجود يمتد إلى الإنسان أكثر منه إلى الكون نفسه، من حيث أن الإنسان مخلوق على صورة الله (انظر Imago Dei).
