معارضة الناموس؛ وبالأخص رفضٌ لفكرة أن الحياة المسيحية بحاجة إلى أن تُحكَم بقوانين أو قواعد. أو ضد الشريعة: نظام أخلاقي يُنكر (يرفض) الطبيعة المُقيِّدة لأي شريعة أو قانون لسلوك الفرد. تعبير ازدرائي يُطلق على فكرة أن المؤمنين بالمسيح ليسوا مُلزَمين بالوعظ بقوانين العهد القديم أو الالتزام بها لأن استحقاقات المسيح قد حررت المؤمنين به من الناموس.
