مذهب اللاأدرية: مصطلح "لاأدرية" مشتق من كلمتين يونانيتين: a ومعناها لا، وgnosis ومعناها معرفة. تشير اللاأدرية إلى نظام إيماني يكون فيه الرأي الشخصي في تصريح عقائدي معيَّن (على سبيل المثال، "الله موجود") هو أن هذا الرأي معطَّل أو مُعلَّق، لأنه لا يمكن إثبات صحته ولا إثبات خطئه، أو لأن مثل هذه التصريحات يُنظر لها باعتبارها غير ذات صلة.
