نظام لاهوتي يضع في الاعتبار البرامج المختلفة والطرائق المختلفة التي تعامل الله بها مع الإنسان. تتميَّز التدبيرية بما يلي: 1. التفسير الطبيعي (الحرفي) الثابت؛ 2. التمييز الواضح بين إسرائيل والكنيسة؛ 3. مجد الله بوصفه قصد الله الأسمى في العالم. لا تتضمن التدبيرية وسائل مختلفة للخلاص في كل عصر، بل عبر كل التدبيرات ظل الخلاص دائمًا بالنعمة وحدها، بالإيمان وحده، على أساس شخص المسيح وحده وعمله.
