التمجيد، التعظيم. رأي في الخلاص حيث يصبح المرء أكثر شبهًا بالله. يُسمَّى أيضًا بمصطلح theosis، التأليه هو النموذج السائد وهدف النضج المسيحي في الكنائس الأرثوذكسية الشرقية. الشهادة بأن المؤمنين "يصيرون شركاء الطبيعة الإلهية" (2بطرس 1: 4). إن رؤية الله، وإماتة الخطية، والاتحاد السرِّي، والروح القدس والتدريبات الروحية، وغير ذلك يمكِّنون الناس من التعاون مع النعمة لتعزيز التأليه.[24]
