مجد – Noun
المصطلح الكتابي الذي يُستخدم للإشارة إلى الإظهار العظيم الذي لا يُدنى منه لحضور الله المباشر والقريب. ينقل مفهوم المجد في الكتاب المقدس الدلالة على الجمال الذي لا يُنطق به والجلال الذي لا يُعبَّر عنه. وفي الوقت نفسه يتضمن المعنى "القداسة" المُرهبة والطاهرة على نحو مطلق التي تواجه إثم البشر. إن مجد المسيح هو على نحو خاص نتيجة لقيامته من بين الأموات وصعوده إلى يمين الآب.
