الفكر الكالفيني: المذهب البروتستانتي الذي يُنسب إلى المصلح الفرنسي جون كالفن (1509 – 1564). فِكْر چون كالفن. يُطلَق المصطلح بصفة خاصة على عقيدة التعيين المسبق، التي بموجبها يختار الله سياديًّا البعض للخلاص، لا لأي استحقاق فيهم، أو حتى لأي إيمان سبق فرآه فيهم، بل فقط بحسب مشيئته الحرة، وفي نعمة غير مستحَقَّة
